A Series of Ridiculous Events
October 30th, 2006 by Yunzhen
You will never imagine the number of ‘unfortunate’ events we have encountered within this week alone…all because of a ‘dear’ friend of ours. The details are too ridiculous to be worth mentioning. In short, we lost a friend but gained much in return.
Through this ‘chalet-’incident, we incurred some monetary losses in exchange of a truth…what ‘this’ person is made of. Daren felt that the damaged friendship is most unfortunate.
But oh man, what’s the loss? Losing a lousy friend? Hee…
Lesson learnt: You may treat everyone as your good friend but they may not feel the same way.
But we won’t stop thinking that way just because of this
I happened to read this and found it rather adept:
…not all relations we share with others are positive. There are some that have negative effects….[But] when we have an expansive life we can even perceive those who give us problems as “good friends” who has indirectly helped us to become a stronger better person. [End]
Daren, your say…
Daren’s Say
I quote a poem
You’re now entering the stressful place,
where you go out with bad friends,
who make you feel horrible,
and discomfort you embrace.
You wonder if they care about you,
you wonder if they’ll stay,
You say you care about them,
but they look away.
They’re looking for fun,
you’re looking for a good friend,
they’re callously looking for entertainment,
you feel like their toy game.
They just use you,
and claim that you are to blame.
Bad friends abuse you,
their neglect is a form of abuse,
you know that it true,
when you start feeling used.
Yeah well, what should you do?
should they stay friends?
or should it all end?
Asking for a good friend,
is the least you can do,
but temporary entertainment,
is what they pursue.
Well, it’s up to you,
you choose what to do.
Well, not to that extent… but things moved on. I was pretty upset for that short moment, then it moved on to partial disappointment. Sorry to have shaken you zhen!
Time to move on
