North Indian Delight
November 17th, 2009 by Daren Tay
Just last week, YZ and I travelled to Upper Thomson Road to check new food places we have yet to dig our tongues in. There were quite a few along the road, and we settled for a North Indian Cuisine restuatant.
The boss was very friendly, greeting us at th door step and taking effort to explain the promotions. Ironically what attracted me is mainly the lack of crowd. Peaceful. Boss said they used to be in Singapore expo, but have shifted due to rent issues.
We ordered Bryani, nans (plain and garlic) and the curries. Compared to Khansama, the menu is less intimidating for people like us. Food served was a la fine dinin style interestingly. We swap some of the rice for more nans and boy were we really full from that!
Overall the food was decent and the place nice. I don’t know abt YZ but I think I prefer khansama still haha. Still, a place to check while you’re in the area with some inian delicacies cravings
